Exempt Dog Breeds

XL Bully

This transition period may be a difficult and stressful time for owners of the newly banned breed and types having to comply with new regulations set by the government and insurance companies.

Many pet business providers are working hard to ensure that these owners with their pets can still have access to their secure free-running spaces, training and grooming facilities.

Honesty and integrity are paramount for this to work, enabling all sectors to continue to offer services for these dogs from 31st December 2023

In addition to our standard terms and conditions applicable to Exempt Dogs

  • The dog must have an "Index of Exempt Dogs" registration and have current liability insurance

  • A copy of the Exemption Certificate and the current Public Liability Insurance is required before attending the first booking. Emailed the copies to fun4alldogtraining@googleemail.com or via WhatsApp to 07714931918

  • The dog is neutered - in line with Government timescale - Updated 16th March 2024

  • The exempt dog can have the lead and muzzle removed once inside the field, even is attending with other dogs or adult people from the same household

  • However, the exempt dog must remain on lead and muzzled 1:1 with its handler if a person from another household is present during the booking. This applies to all categories of appointments - 1 to 7 households.

When using the Main Car Park:

  • The dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled until inside the main secure field

  • All gates must be shut and at least one gate padlocked before the lead and muzzle are removed

  • When leaving the security of the field, the dog must be wearing its muzzle and on lead before un-padlocking the gate

When using the Secure Car Parking Area:

  • Keep the dog inside the car until the main entrance gate is shut and re-padlocked

  • When leaving, secure the dog in the car before un-padlocking and opening the main entrance gate

  • NB: It is a legal requirement that Exempt dogs must travel muzzled and secured in the vehicle

Important

  • Failure to comply with the full terms and conditions or supply further information for supporting evidence, when requested to do so, will have all appointments cancelled and future bookings declined
