Terms & Conditions

Making a booking is deemed you have read, understood and agreed with these Terms and Conditions.

     Booking an appointment

  • Each booked appointment is permitted with one car per household.

  • Pet Business users are welcome to purchase a booking or package offer with up to six dogs per appointment.

  • Multi-household booking categories are for up to 5 dogs per household or by meeting the above requirements.

  • The '1 household booking' category is for all dogs personally owned in one home, regardless of how many dogs. However, if it's more than five dogs, supporting documentation of ownership is required for all dogs to be permitted, plus at least one other person at the appointment to ensure all dog waste is picked up. This also applies to each household attending on a multi-household booking. Email or WhatsApp a copy of each dog's microchip registration or vaccination card showing the dog and owner's name, before making the booking. This is not required for less than five dogs.

  • Bookings can be rescheduled up to 24 hours (or less if within an offer period) before the booked time. Rescheduling is unlimited for moving an appointment to an earlier or later date, within the 12 months of purchase. Please note we do not offer refunds.

  • Payments made in error requiring a refund will incur a 4% admin charge.

  • Breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act: see the additional conditions and requirements set by our insurance company and the government restrictions. Compliance requirements:- Certificate of Exemption Dogs T&C's

Misuse

Future bookings may be declined for -

      • multiple households attending a one-household booking

      • Business users bringing more than five dogs

      • Not complying with additional conditions for DDA Exempt breeds

      • Anyone or children seen or reported as being on the agility equipment

Rescheduling / Late Cancellations

  • Cancellations are not offered. However, a booking can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the booked time (or less if within an offer period). Alternatively, a late cancellation request within the last 24-hour period can be posted on our Facebook page. Should the booking be successfully scheduled by another customer, a replacement will be issued, thus avoiding the loss of a purchase.

  • A refund or replacement will not be given for cancellations, late arrivals or ‘No-Shows’ if not subsequently re-sold.

Car Park

  • Gilbert's Gallop field is located on a working livestock farm and a livery yard.

  • The secure parking space is located on the left-hand side of the driveway, behind the green-covered gate with a coded padlock. This space will enable dogs to go directly from the car into the secure field, without the use of dog leads.

  • When using the secure parking space, it must be vacated by the end of the booked time, ready for the start of the next booking. Alternatively, use the main car park. All parking is at your own risk for loss or damage.

  • An additional green-coded padlock is provided at the small entrance gate, should extra security be required during the visit. Leave the green padlock unlocked hanging on the hook when not in use. The code for both padlocks is on the one-hour SMS and email messages.

Arrival-Departure

  •  Leave by the end of the booked time, including walking through or driving from the secure parking area and driveway area.

  • Avoid arriving more than 10 minutes before your appointment.

  • Early arrivals must park away from the secure field gate and wait in the car with their dog, thereby avoiding disruption to owners and reactivity between dogs.

  •  Late arrivals must still vacate by the end of the booked time.

  • Close gates when leaving and the main gate secured with the coded padlock. The padlock numbers should be jumbled up from the code supplied to protect equipment and misuse.

  • If the next waiting customer can quote the correct gate code, then it is permissible to leave the main gate open for them.

The Secure Field

  • Bookings include exclusive use of all the secure areas, including the activity and agility equipment, that is provided for dog use only.

  • Children must be always supervised and are not allowed on the agility equipment.

  • Gilbert's Gallop is fully fenced with gated access. However, if unsure of its security or suitability for your dog on arrival, please call immediately.

  • Every precaution is taken for the safety of owners and their pets to minimise risks where possible. However, we cannot take responsibility for injuries to yourself, your dogs, personal property or damage/loss to vehicles when caused by a third party or a dog during a booking.

  • The secure dog field is regularly inspected and maintained with safety in mind. However, please be aware that the sloping field is farmland and therefore uneven. In wet conditions, it may be slippery and/or muddy.

Activity - Agility Equipment

  • All agility equipment and activities are provided for dog use only.

  • Anyone seen or reported as standing, running, or jumping on the equipment may have future bookings declined.

  • All equipment is provided for adult dogs. Young dogs should be at least 8 to 12 months old to avoid damaging growth plates.

  • All equipment is used at the handler's or owner's own risk. Fun 4 All Dog Club cannot be held responsible for accidents and injuries sustained whilst using activity equipment. It is advisable to seek training advice or refer to online training for safe practice to minimise risks. A Risk Assessment is provided in Gilbert's tea shed, situated behind the mound to the right of the small entrance gate.

  • Please do not allow and stop a dog from jumping on or running along the top of the agility tunnels.

Digging / Boundary Fences

  • Do not allow dogs to dig, especially around the boundary fence. Any holes where possible, must be refilled; all holes at boundary fences must be reported to ensure the integrity of the field and the safety of other users.

  • The ground conditions and boundary fences are checked regularly. However, any potential risk should be reported immediately.

  • Do not climb on or over fencing or gates.

Dog Waste / Rubbish

  • On arrival, only allow dogs in the field when they can be watched for toileting. All waste must be picked up, bins are provided only for bagged and tied dog waste.

  • The field is checked daily for any missed dog waste. However, due to the size of the field, it is problematic. Please help to keep the field clean by picking up any dog waste found during a visit.

  • All litter, especially items that could be harmful to dogs, must be taken away with you. This includes broken or chewed dog toys, uneaten treats, drink bottles, cans, chewing gum and cigarette ends.

Poorly Dogs

  • Do not bring dogs with symptoms of coughing, sickness, or diarrhoea; including dogs who may have an infectious disease or are known to have been in contact with an infected animal.

  • It is assumed that all visiting dogs are vaccinated and wormed for their protection.
